A true jack-of-all-trades, Steve Sizemore Group’s namesake does it all and he does it well. Steve started his music career as a drummer though personnel changes in his earlier bands required him to hone his skills as a front man. With bass in hand he is now right at home behind the mic. Though he still takes opportunities to demonstrate abilities on other instruments live. Actually a majority of SSG’s members are multi-instrumentalists, so, quite literally, playing musical chairs has become part of the show. This wide range of skills also makes Steve a prolific songwriter as evidenced by the critical acclaim received by several SSG songs. But his real allure can only be witnessed live. Soft spoken charm with a southern drawl offstage suddenly transforms into wild energy under the lights.
